Consensable is similar to Perplexity in that it uses leading commercial AI models and performs real-time web searches to provide grounded, current-affairs answers. However, Consensable differs by running your question through a panel of several different AI models in parallel—such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini—rather than relying on a single model.
After the panel members perform their own searches and generate responses, a chair model synthesizes their work into a single, accountable answer. This process includes a visible panel-agreement score that indicates how much the models converged on the key claims, and it explicitly surfaces any active disagreements between the panel members.
